360 hands down. There is simply no reason to buy a ps3 yet.

This has to be the most ******** reason ever. why should he pay the double of a 360 just because of a fancy dvd player?

Originally by: Reiisha Mass Effect will be released on the PC some time after, and it will be better than the X360 version (ala Fable and Jade Empire for the original XBox). Same goes for virtually every game released for the XBox.
What do you base this on besides sheer ignorance? Have you ever compared Halo xbox with Halo PC?
And I'd rather play a game that runs smoothly on my 360 than a pc that stutters everynow and then.

Why do i prefer the PS3? I'm a Tekken and Gran Turismo fanboy. Just to get that out of the way :)
Ahhh that explains it, you are an idiot

1) MS bogged Halo 2 down for the PC by forcing it to use DX10, even though it doesn't actually use DX10 features... Not to mention that Vista is the sole reason for Halo 2 needing 2GB of ram and an uber cpu to run smoothly. Halo 2 will run as smooth as silk on 4 year old pc's if someone hacks out the 'vista only' bits.
And Halo? Halo both looks better and plays better on an old xbox than a pc. And 'hacking' isnt really a great argument you know.

2) I most certainly had the pleasure of comparing halo 1 on xbox and pc... And the pc version was by far superior, even on budget pc's. The game doesn't require a lot of hardware to run at a smooth 60+ fps.
Eh? It didnt run better not at all.

I also had the pleasure of comparing both Fable versions. The comparison is a joke, very much in favor of the PC version.
The pc version was released a whole year later. Please put two and two together.

3) Gran Turismo 4 is still competitive with stuff like PGR and Forza, even though it's a PS2 game. Tekken (or even Soul Calibur and Virtua Fighter) are far superior games to Dead or Alive, that's a simple fact (look up the reviews).
Gran Turismo is crap compared to MSR. Tekken is rubbish, its block punch block punch, virtua fighter was ace, but thats originally an arcade game so it could have been released on either consoles.
Dead or alive is whack.
To put the final nail in the coffin when we mention ps2. Sega Dreamcast were ten times better than ps2.
